About Us

PART: Professional Appraisers Round Table is a volunteer-based professional organization that strives to provide resources and networking opportunities to appraisal industry professionals. PART meets virtually on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Eastern via Zoom and runs for approximately 2 hours. Each meeting has a unique speaker or topic discussed around the table. The discussions at the table must be well-rounded to fit the various needs of our participants. PART members (PARTicipants) would receive 1.5 continuing education credits for every meeting they attend and 2.5 credits for presenting to the group. Benefit members value is when the networking service PART offers pairs of members (referral process) to complete projects. PARTicipants can submit a request; PART matches them to a professional in PART’s network.

PART meets virtually on Tuesday at 7 pm Eastern via Zoom and runs for approximately 2 hours. Each meeting has a unique speaker or topic discussed around the table. Topics that frequent our table include but are not limited to self-care, business, communication, marketing, artist, material specific, projects done by members, market analysis, auctions, and galleries. The first 15 – 20 minutes of PART meetings are dedicated to a networking chat, allowing PARTicipants (members) to ask questions, seek advice, and talk about current events affecting the appraisal industry and network. PART’s website continues the conversation with support from an ever-growing resource library.

PART: Professional Appraisers Round Table is a volunteer-based professional organization that strives to provide resources and networking opportunities to appraisal industry professionals. PART was initially called the Booze & Schmooze, formed in April 2020 as a weekly check-in during the isolation days of the COVID pandemic. The meetings actively engaged members, fighting the geographic and social isolation during the early days of the Pandemic. The meeting occurred virtually on Tuesday. Approximately 25 wine appraisers would have a glass of wine, talk about the notes, and chat about work or lack thereof. As the weeks went by, the group requested to spend the time with more educational topics; this was how PART’s topic-driven talks came to be. Then word of mouth started. Before Booze &Schmooze knew there were over 100 people at the virtual table, with more eagerly looking to join. Adapting to the growing member base, the group changed its name to PART: Professional Appraisers Round Table. PART’s logo, website, and bylaws ushered in the group’s first anniversary.
